Parishioners wishing to visit Peru
St. Anthony adult mission trip to our sister parish in Peru is planned for sometime between late December 2005 and early January 2006.  The total cost is approximately $1500.  If you are interested in going, please email or call the parish office (691-1173) with your name and phone number.  We need to hear from all interested parishioners by August 1st.

Peru Shipping Container
We will again be sending a semi-truck size shipping container to our sister parish in Piura, Peru this August.  Those sponsoring a family in Peru are welcome to send a package to your family in the container.  Please follow the instructions below:

We ask that you do not include prescription medications in your package as the Peru families will not know what they are for or how to use them safely.  If you are donation a larger item for your family that will not fit in a bin, please securely attach the Family to Family number, etc., to the item.
All bins and items can be dropped off in the gym between July 11 and July 24th.  We cannot guarantee that items brought in after July 24th will be processed in time to pack in the container.  The earlier the better!

We will be sorting and packing items for the container the weeks of July 11th and July 18th.  We welcome any help on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8 - noon.  Please watch the bulletin for additional information.

Special note for Family to Family Packages:  Use the inventory sheets that were mailed to you.  Please read the shipping directions that were included.  Put your name on the envelope that you attach to the package.  EVERY PACKAGE MUST HAVE AN INVENTORY SHEET.

If you have any questions regarding Peru or the shipment, please contact the parish at salparsh@execpc.com or 691-1173.
